My name is Nicolas, and like many parents, I dreamed of giving my children a childhood filled with wonder, adventure, and connection to the natural world. But I wanted something more—I wanted them to grow up as guardians of the planet, not just explorers of it.

That's how Maggie's Adventures was born.

What started as bedtime stories about a brave 11-year-old girl traveling the world with her researcher parents evolved into something far greater: a published book series that takes young readers from the jungles of Borneo to the peaks of the Himalayas, from the depths of the Nile to the volcanic islands of the Galápagos. Through Maggie's eyes, children discover not just the beauty of our planet, but also the urgent need to protect it.

In Maggie & The Orangutans, readers witness the devastating truth about deforestation as Maggie befriends Drew, a young orangutan who gifts her the magical ability to communicate with jungle animals. Armed with this gift and surrounded by unlikely allies—including Dhia, a wise 70-year-old saltwater crocodile—Maggie becomes the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

But here's what I realised: Maggie shouldn't just live in books. She should inspire real adventures.
